After a successful 2017 which saw the Devonshire Spa being crowned Best ‘Luxury Emerging Spa in Northern Europe’ at the World Luxury Spa Awards (WLSA), we are delighted to announce that our award-winning spa has been shortlisted for Day Spa of the Year at the 2018 Professional Beauty Awards for the third consecutive year.
The Professional Beauty Awards is the most prestigious and established awards scheme for the beauty, spa, nails and aesthetics markets, recognising those who stand out as leaders in the beauty and spa industry, so being shortlisted for these awards for the third year running is an incredible achievement.
As part of the University of Derby, the Devonshire Dome is proud to offer a ‘real-world learning’ environment, where students studying a variety of subjects can experience what it is really like to work in their chosen industry and gain a recognised qualification to help them advance in their career. Each academic year, the Spa’s fantastic facilities play a major part in many students development, enabling them to learn the tricks of the trade and understand what it is like to work in a spa environment.
The Devonshire Spa scooped the title for Best Day Spa at the 2016 Professional Beauty Awards, beating some of the most well-established venues across the UK thanks to its luxurious, well-equipped facilities and unique setting at the historic Devonshire Dome in Buxton.
Following on from the success of the last two years, the team at the Devonshire Spa and the University of Derby hope to make 2018 one to be remembered by continuing its winning streak.
